Privacy Policy

Lighthouse Digital Solutions ("Lighthouse", "we") builds, hosts, secures and grows websites for businesses. This policy covers this website and the Lighthouse client platform. For any privacy question, email hello@lighthousedigitalsolutions.org.

Enquiry form. When you send an enquiry we collect your company name, your name, your email address, and — if you choose to give them — your phone number and message. We use them only to reply to you and to manage the conversation that follows.

Free website check. The free check asks only for a website address. We don't ask for your email and we don't save the address or the results.

Technical data. To stop abuse, we briefly hold the IP address a request came from, to limit how many enquiries or checks can be sent in a short time. This is kept in memory only and is not stored in our database.

Analytics and cookies. This website currently runs no analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and sets no tracking cookies. If we add any, we will update this page first. The client platform uses essential cookies only, to keep signed-in users signed in.

Your enquiry is stored in our own customer records and emailed to our team. We also send you an automatic confirmation email.

We use an AI service to help us read and prioritise new enquiries. It sees the details you entered in the form, and a person at Lighthouse still reviews every enquiry.

For clients who ask us to manage their SEO, Lighthouse connects to Google with read-only access to Google Search Console, Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager. We use this data only to monitor those clients' own websites and to prepare their reports. We do not use it for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with anyone except the client it belongs to.

Lighthouse's use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

We use a small number of providers to run Lighthouse: Vercel (website hosting), Supabase (database), Resend (sending email) and Anthropic (the AI service mentioned above). Each one processes data only to provide its service to us.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to respond to you and to look after any work we do together. You can ask us at any time what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@lighthousedigitalsolutions.org.

If what we collect or how we use it changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
